Thylacine's last dream

(oil on canvas, 40x50 cm, synthetic frame) - 800€. I find myself imagining the last thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus), long ago, before we pushed it over the edge of time. Moving quietly beneath the canopy’s shadow, it would lie down on scattered eucalyptus leaves and dream its final dream.
