fire salamander

fire salamander, (watercolour, 15x15 cm acrylic frame,22x25cm) Over the years, I have made it a habit that every spring I follow the migration of the fire salamanders (S.salamandra) in the beech forest near my home. They are endlessly fascinating amphibians that, year after year, descend into small streams to give birth, then return to the shade of the trees.
