Kinglet
(oil on canvas, 18x24cm, synthetic frame) .Regulus regulus, commonly known as the goldcrest or kinglet, is the smallest bird species in Europe. Its bright yellow tuft of feathers resembling a crown has generated an entire fable tradition about how this tiny warbler is, in fact, the king of all birds.
